Church Still Hard at Work

Although we are sad to see Reverend Don and Amy depart the church, we wish them the best in their new calling in Tennessee. Even in their absence the church is still hard at work. Our Transition Committee has been actively working to get us through this season of change. The committee has invited several guest pastors to deliver the sermon during the Sunday worship service. Please check the events calendar to see their schedule.

This morning’s sermon was delivered by Rev. Bob Guerrin. He gave a very appropriate message from 1 Peter Chapter 1. We are all in need of something from God, but we must stop and bathe in the grace of God. We all have been truly blessed and it is important to remember all that He has done for us. While we are in need of a pastor here at Springwood, we must take this time to bathe in the grace of God. We have been very blessed as a church and it is important that we take the time to count them. Today we were blessed to hear Rev Guerrin’s message.
