Prayer

Springwood is a community of prayer...

It is by prayer that we move God to change the world.
And it is by prayer that God works to change us.

Prayer and Bible reading go together, each leading into the other, as God's Spirit works to shape and lead us.  A good practice to prepare yourself for spiritual growth is to begin a discipline of daily devotionals.  The Upper Room is one which our congregation gives out free of charge.

Together we are praying for these persons and situations in our church, in our community, and in our world.
Current prayer list:

Family of Glen Wheeler, David Ingleson (bone cancer,) Sherry Kepley (cancer,) Rodney & Wendy Truitt, Kirk in his waiting for a pastoral call, Don & family in their transition to another call, our pastoral transition team, Lloyd Goad, Phillip Coolbaugh (Mary Lockamy's brother), Ronald Gilbert, Carl Barber, Mrs. Juanita Henry, Leslie Troup family, Megan Stoner (granddaughter of Mary Ann & Don), Rev.
